Dr.
Frank Lucchetti Ed.D. is a pioneer in the field of Psychology.
He has
been a teacher, therapist, and psychologist for thirty years. He
was one
of the first psychologists in the United States to begin formal
study in
the field of psychopharmacology. He was one of only 400
psychologists
to pass the first national exam in the field of
psychopharmacology.
Dr
Lucchetti has completed a fellowship and is board certified on
the
prescription of psychotropic medication and its possible effect
on human behavior.
Psychologists may discuss medications with a patient and
psychologists may suggest to a physician a particular medication
to be prescribed by the physician.
He is board certified and is a diplomat
fellow in the area of
serious mental
illness. Dr. Lucchetti has been a Qualified
Medical Evaluator
since it began
in 1994 for the Industrial Medical Council. Prior
to starting his private
practice in psychology he was an
educator having taught at all
levels
of education.
Dr Lucchetti lives in Sonoma with his wife
of forty years, his two
sons and five grandchildren. In March of
2005 he
opened his exclusive
practice at the Sonoma Medical Plaza as a
licensed Psychologist and a Life Coach. Dr. Lucchetti continues
to provide services
to his community.
